Homemade Vegan Apple Crisp Recipe
Apple crisp is one of those typical American dishes that has grown to become something we all love. This is especially true for us vegans. Apple crisp is one of the undeniably rich vegan desserts, rich in aroma, flavor, taste and basically everything else. The richness in flavor and everything else doesn’t come from nothing, it comes from the careful combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract and more.
It is that dessert you make every fall and never get tired of it(at least for me).
How I Make My Vegan Apple Crisp
Making apple crisp is possibly one of the easiest recipes I’ve had to share with you on this blog. It’s easy and straight to the point. I Start by preheating the oven to around 350°F (175°C). Then I prepare my apples by peeling and slicing them into even pieces. Toss them with lemon juice, then a tiny bit of cinnamon, and a sweetener of my choosing, you can choose any. Spread this fragrant mixture into a greased baking dish. In a different bowl, I mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Pour in melted vegan butter or coconut oil and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
That’s literally the most important part, but I know you’d need a guided recipe that’s well structured that’s why the recipe card below is provided.
