- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 cup of plain, unsweetened soy milk
- ½ cup of canola oil
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 cup of vegan chocolate chips, optional

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (or 200°C).
Step 2: In a bowl, mix the soy milk and apple cider vinegar, and set aside.
Step 3: In a bowl, add in the flour, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder, and whisk together properly.
Step 4: Add the soy milk mix, vanilla extract, and canola milk to the dry ingredients, and mix with a spatula. Make sure not to overmix.
